Buying a founding placement

When a placement offers checkout, its price is a one-time total in USD for the exact location and template customisation shown before payment. Founding placements are intended to remain in KlipZi City for the supported lifetime of the game, subject to reasonable technical, legal, safety or platform changes. That means the time the game remains operated and the placement is supported within it. It is not a permanent or unlimited promise: it does not guarantee that the game will operate forever or that a placement will transfer to a future game or platform. Separate short-run advertising campaigns, if offered later, are sold on their own stated terms.

Your package uses an existing game template with the approved name, colours, message or artwork listed in its scope. Bespoke modelling, new gameplay, additional locations and ongoing redesigns are outside that scope. We confirm your order by email after payment succeeds, and you can submit your brief through My reservation.

Content approval and delivery

You must have permission to use the content you submit. We review it for suitability, rights and fit before publication. Existing template purchases normally go live within 7 days after we accept the artwork and brief. We will contact you if changes or a different delivery date are needed. Larger custom packages receive an agreed scope and delivery date before purchase.

Approval of a brief does not itself activate a placement. We confirm when your placement is live. Any change to the agreed package or price requires your approval.

Cancellation, refunds and help

You can cancel a paid placement order within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, unless you asked us to publish it sooner and it is already live in the game. Contact hello@klipzi.com with your order reference to cancel, request a refund or report a problem with your placement. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Reviewing these terms or submitting a brief does not waive those rights.

What a placement is

A placement is a display or character customisation within an indie game. It is not an NFT, equity, an investment, or ownership of land, a building, the game or its intellectual property. It provides no resale right, exclusivity beyond its stated scope, guaranteed audience, impressions, traffic or revenue.

What a reservation gives you

A priority reservation is a free, non-binding hold. No payment is taken or owed when you reserve. A reservation does not create a contract to supply a placement.

• You are first in line for that placement while your hold is active.
• We record the founder price, the package scope and the terms version shown to you at the time.
• When purchase opens for your placement, we email you and you get 48 hours to decide at the price recorded on your reservation.

Existing reservation terms

Priority reservations retain their recorded price, scope and terms version. Reservations made with a 12-month term keep that term, beginning when the approved placement goes live; the supported-lifetime purchase terms above do not automatically replace it. Your recorded details are shown in My reservation. We confirm purchase and fulfilment details before any payment.

One hold each

One person may hold one specific placement at a time. If you want a different one, move your hold — the change is instant and the old placement is released for the next person waiting. You can also join backup lists for as many placements as you like.

Scope and price changes

The price and scope recorded on your reservation are shown in My reservation. If a requested change affects that scope or price, we will explain the change for your approval before purchase. You can release your reservation at any time. A reservation does not require you to buy or create a contract to supply the placement.

Cancelling or releasing a free hold

Cancel any time from the My reservation page. DeadCool Apps Ltd may also release a hold — for example if a placement is withdrawn from the game or a hold appears abusive — and will email you the reason.

Fictional businesses

Some shops and landmarks belong to the fictional city or the game team. They are labelled as city scenery or showcases and are not customer purchases or available slots.
